Henry's visit to the big city
To celebrate Henry's belated 5th birthday, we had the little fellow stay with us for the weekend. We had visions of the Lego store, zoo lights, and museums. We made it as far as the Lego store. Then he and Uncle Dylan played with said Lego the remainder of the weekend.

The Petersons visit Chicago
Despite the rainy winter day we still managed to see the Macy's windows, shop, pack our bellies, drink some booze, and be with good friends.
Living History Farms
I took the Megabus to Des Moines to see Tara's gorgeous new home, adorable kiddos, and run a 7 mile "adventure" race with my bestie.
