blogger just kind of stinks and it's not mobile. sara and i have had bad phone/cameras for awhile and just now upgraded to two-year-old tech. sometimes it's annoying laborious to take pic with separate camera, connect to computer, upload, etc. so i started a tumblr last week at (urbaneer.tumblr.com) and i tweet semi-regularly @drchicago. tumblr is rad.

Rhubarb Strawberry Apple cobbler
This was baked with love in memory of my cute little granny who made the BEST rhubarb pies, and in honor of Dylan who loves eating cobbler. Thank you to eatliverun.com girl for this recipe that we all LOVED. It is quick, easy and delicious.
Ingredients:
2 cups diced rhubarb (about three stalks)
1 cup quartered strawberries
1 golden delicious apple, diced
1 cup sugar
1 T flour
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
4 T cold butter, cut into chunks
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Toss the diced rhubarb, strawberries and apple in a large bowl with the flour and
granulated sugar.Spray an eight inch square dish with cooking spray and pour
in the fruit. In the same bowl you tossed the fruit it, combine the oats, flour,
brown sugar and cinnamon. Using your fingers, work the butter in until
it resembles coarse sand.Pour the topping on the fruit and bake for 45 minutes,
until golden.

Iowa City
My spring break ended with visiting our old stomping grounds. We were able to rekindle our love for Sam's calzones, play on the gorgeous new climbing wall, and most importantly hang with our IC buddies.

San Diego
My sister and I had a wonderful time visiting our Aunt Linda and grandma in San Diego. We had lots of laughs and way too much food. It was so nice to have family girl time, and get all the secrets of being a cool near-90-year old like my Gram.
