The Petersons visit Chicago
Despite the rainy winter day we still managed to see the Macy's windows, shop, pack our bellies, drink some booze, and be with good friends.
Living History Farms
I took the Megabus to Des Moines to see Tara's gorgeous new home, adorable kiddos, and run a 7 mile "adventure" race with my bestie.

Columbus
Last weekend we traveled east to the Buckeye state. We celebrated our friends Tim and Simi's nuptuals for a whole weekend, complete with climbing (him), eating ice cream (her), a beautiful wedding, a killer dance party, and lots of good times with our Patagonia friends.

Rome
We began our European vacation in Roma! We hit up the Colloseum and the Roman Forum. We walked for miles and miles and saw Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona. We walked a few steps from our apartment to the Vatican, where I failed dress code. After a quick change, we listened to Rick Steves tell us all about St. Peter's and we climbed to the top of the basilica. We took siestas everyday to escape the heat and ate lots of gelato. It was awesome.
Lecco
We took a nice commuter train to Milan, and then a tiny train to Lecco. This was the most beautiful place we've ever seen, and some of our favorite moments were on our hotel balcony drinking wine while taking in the amazing scenery. We talked about living in the Alps, and starting an internet coupon company (him) and finding some sick people to care for (her). We took a boat ride to Bellagio, and I searched in vain for George Clooney. It was absolute heaven, and we can't wait to go back.
Milan
We then took the train from Lecco to Milan. We spent one short day here before flying to Paris the next day. We saw the gorgeous Il Duomo and looked at all the pretty people. Dylan could have spent a few days shopping here.
Paris
We stayed at the Westin Paris across from Le Jardin des Tuileries. We walked to the Louvre and saw Mona. We ate crepes while waiting in line for the Eiffel Tower. We went to the Champs Elysees and stood under the Arc de Triomphe. And we escaped the crowds and the rain to the Bastille neighborhood where we ate snails and drank lots of beer. It was the BTE. (best trip ever).

Sara Reynolds RN, MSN
After 3 long years, lots of tears, and unending support from you all, I presented my capstone on a lovely Chicago morning and said goodbye to Rush. Several days later I completed my clinical hours in Indiana and called it a day.

Zippy Ellison Reynolds
2004-2011
You took us all over the midwest, around Lake Michigan, to Colorado, and beyond. You took your mom safely to many clinical sites all over Illinois and Indiana, and your dad to countless biking adventures. You got key'd, egged, rear ended, pulled over, and endured many unsheltered Chicago winter nights. You had the best sound system, cozy seat warmers, and unbeatable fuel efficiency (46 miles/gallon!). We trusted you to keep us safe and you always did. You cost us a fortune but we loved you anyway. You were a really great car. Thanks, Zippy. We will miss you.
